Please fill it out for all wrestlers in your club and e-mail it back to lowellwrestling@gmail.com by 8:00 PM on Thursday April 12th, 2012.
Please arrive at Lowell High School (not the Middle School as this was the location last year) by 8:00 A.M. CST to check in and pay for your wrestlers. We will do our absolute best to start promptly at 9:00 A.M. CST. As long as everyone shows up by 8:00 A.M., checks in, and we can get the tournament running, we will start on time.

LOWELL WRESTLING ON THE RISE
A great first week for Lowell Wrestling as the Red Devils went 5-1 and 2-0 in the conference. Lowell posted a victory 42-22 Wednesday night against Griffith to start the season off right. Lowell then Saturday beat Munster, Peru, North Ridge, Harrison before losing to Mishawaka in there final match of the weekend. Even in there loss, Lowell wrestled well and continuously attacked their opposition.
Wrestlers with one loss, Jake Gross, Mitch Roadruck, Tyler Wright and Ryan Patterson had outstanding efforts to aid their team in these duals. Undefeated wrestlers after the first week were Kenny Hughes, and Seniors Jeremy Crocker and Scott Pitrowski.
Lowell wrestled there toughest opening season competition traveling to Plymouth and rose to the occasion. Coaches were proud of tenacity shown by their wrestlers where all day long the team got in their opponents faces taking pride in their conditioning. After this weekend events Head Coach Bobby Howard said of the team, "We are headed in the right direction!"

LOWELL WRESTLERS BRING THE ACTION TO MERRILLVILLE SEMISTATE
Merrillville semistate was a great day for Lowell wrestling qualifing two wreslters for The Indy State Finals. CHARLIE MAVROS (140) placed 3rd and JEREMY CROCKER (171) placed 2nd on a day were both wreslters went 3-1 and wreslted at the top of their games.
Coach Willman said of the day, "I am very proud of all our wrestlers. Even in our tough losses of all our semistate qualifers (Bottos, Hughes, Patterson, and Pitrowski) we took the action to our opponents and wrestled tough."
Now the focus becomes the state finals as two wreslters go down to Indy with the opportunity of being a champion. When coach was asked about a message for his team he replied, "The time is now. This is what we wrestle for, their is no other week than this one that you have to be a STATE CHAMPION!"

BIG WEEK OF PRACTICE FOR SEMISTATE BOUND WRESTLERS
Next weekend is what defines seasons and careers of wrestlers. Lowell advanced 6 wrestlers to semistate this weekend, each with a chance to go to Indy for the state finals. "Its a big week for our men who need to gather focus, sharpen technique, and zone the attitude that they are state bound."
JEREMY CROCKER (171) was a regional champion this weekend at Laporte to lock a one seed in for semistate at Merrillville. Lowell also had two runnerups; Charlie Marvos (140) and Ryan Patterson (189). Other advancers were Scotty Pitrowski (HWT) and two freshmen Josh Bottos (103) and Kenny Hughes (135).
